A Man-Made, Decorative Stream

On the way to visit some family for a Christmas dinner, the urban scenery caught my eye. I'm interested in urban waterfalls, and this is something very much like one.

Seattle is good at hasty construction. The construction across the street from the Main Library has been going on for less than a year, and produced two new skyscrapers with a decorative stream between them. There almost seems to be a yin and yang pattern in the gravel bed.
