The Olympic Range, from Myrtle Edwards Park in Seattle. This is a couple miles north of downtown, just west of Queen Anne district and the Space Needle. The very bright buildings are industrial shipping docks, and the foreground seems to be driftwood.

This is a three exposures stacked together in Photoshop: the first caught the sky at twilight, the second, a very long frame to blur the stars' movement into long trails, and the third to see the foreground and, hopefully, give the photo some perspective. The moon was carefully edited out of all but one frame.
