A waterfall along one of the more scenic roads in America, competing with the likes of Going to the Sun Road in Montana. The "Million Dollar Highway" ( also known as the San Juan Skyway ), named for its breathtaking views, leads out of Ouray, toward Mesa Verda national park, then southeast Utah.

The San Juans are a drier flank of the Rocky Mountains, playing home not only to Ouray but more well-known cities like Tulleride.
